Marlie Packer is a flanker who began her rugby career aged five with Ivel Barbarians, where she played for 13 years. She joined Wasps in 2013, later played for Bristol, and now competes for Saracens. Her international experience spans the 2013 Sevens World Cup in Moscow and the 2014 and 2017 World Cup Finals in the 15s format.

Marlie featured in every game of the 2017 Six Nations, including the final against Ireland — a 34–7 victory that sealed the Grand Slam. She was part of England’s 2019 Six Nations Grand Slam campaign, playing all five games, and was named the RPA’s England Women’s Player of the Year for 2021/22, the same season she won the Six Nations and the Allianz Premier 15s title. A 2021 Rugby World Cup finalist, Marlie went on to captain England to World Cup glory in 2025.

Alongside her playing career, Marlie is an accomplished coach — bringing the same energy, knowledge and authority to guest coaching sessions and speaking appearances.

“Marlie is a fantastic rugby coach — inspiring, knowledgeable and authoritative.”
